Hello everyone,
Firstly, thanks for all your messages of support, thoughtfulness and generosity. We're overwhelmed and grateful.
It's hard to find the words (we know, we know, now you know this is serious!) to express how calming and assuring your help has been. From beds to britches and boots to booze as well as all the people we've not actually seen and have given us strength. We really do appreciate it all.
We've been making progress with passports and birth certificates and working out temporary accommodation etc. IBM and Hydrasight have been wonderfully supportive with time and resources to sort ourselves out as well.
We've updated this blog with some photos before and after.
Please do share with friends and people who are concerned because we still haven't collected everyone's contact details.

If you'd prefer to send on CD, please mail to our usual address... the Yarra Glen post office is kindly holding our mail.

EM and JB: Lovely to see your spirit is rising above the trauma you have experienced. I love the photos of the happy budha. He shows life will return to normal some day. Linda
ReplyDeleteDear John and Erin-Marie, although we never made it to 916 version 1.0, we are all looking forward to pitching in to help you make version 2.0 (garden cuttings are already underway). We can only echo the comments made elsewhere on the blog, that it is your personalities and optimistic spirits which makes you such a joy to be around. Keep your spirits up and we look forward to seeing you soon.

P.S EM - not sure if you remember, but you kindly burnt several of your favourite albums to disc (on our Luna Park visit) we are looking forward to adding a selection of our music to yours and returning the favour :-)
